Kindergarten at ICA!
Now enrolling for 2022-2023 School Year!
Kindergarten at ICA is a private Kindergarten option for families of children who are of Kindergarten age or who miss the birthday cutoff to attend public school Kindergarten. Our Kindergarten classroom follows the same Reggio inspired philosophy the rest of our school follows, while meeting NJ state learning standards for Kindergarten. Our small class size differs from that of a piblic school Kindergarten and allows children to recieve individualized attention.
We are utilizing the Oak Meadow Kindergarten curriculum which is a hands on and discovery based curriculum allowing children to be active participants in their learning. Children will learn major subjects including Language/Literacy, Social Studies, Science, Math, Health and Nutrition, Art, and more!
In addition to the curriculum, ICA Kindergarten students will recieve weekly art lessons with our art teacher Miss. Maggie! Weekly dance and movement classes also begin mid September for interested families.
